The owners of Sunderland's famous Luciano's Restaurant opened this smaller sister restaurant in 2006.
Angelo’s Ristorante is located in a carefully restored Grade II listed building in Sunderland’s historic Sunniside area. Serving contemporary Italian cuisine and a selection of inspired international cuisine in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Customers are encouraged to spend an evening, not only enjoying the delicious food, but also taking in the beautifully restored venue. Fireplaces, flooring and even the doors are all original, but the highlight has to be the glass staircase which was only discovered during the refurbishment and dates back to the mid 1800’s.
Located close to the cinema and the town centre, Angelo’s Happy Hour menu is the perfect choice for a light lunch, or a pre-cinema meal. The A la Carte menu offers a wider selection of classic Italian food with a contemporary twist, very special food for those special evenings out.
